About David Introcaso


David Introcaso, Ph.D., is a healthcare policy consultant based in Washington DC for the past 20 plus years.  His bio includes having served in the Office of the U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader, Rep. Steny Hoyer.  He spent several years working in the US Department of Health and Human Services including serving as the Evaluation Officer for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and as a Public Health Analyst at DHHS in the Office of Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE).  He has acute care experience having worked at DC General Hospital and in post-acute in hospice care having worked at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  His consulting clients have ranged from the American Heart Association and the American Public Health Association to UnitedHealth Group.  Among other awards David was a four-year W. K. Kellogg National Leadership Fellow.   He has taught as a adjunct at the University of Chicago, Georgetown and at George Washington University.  His BS, MA and Ph.D. degrees were earned at Arizona State and Rutgers.
