About David Introcaso


David Introcaso is a healthcare policy consultant based in Washington DC.  His bio includes having served in the Office of the U.S. House of Representatives Majority Leader, Rep. Steny Hoyer.  He spent several years working in the US Department of Health and Human Services including serving as the Evaluation Officer for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and as a Public Health Analyst in the Office of Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE).  He has acute care experience having worked at DC General Hospital and in post-acute in hospice care having worked at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  His consulting clients have included the American Heart Association, the American Public Health Association and United Health Group.  Among other awards David was a four-year W. K. Kellogg National Leadership Fellow.  He has taught as a adjunct at the University of Chicago and at George Washington University, he is currently a contributor to the Health Affairs blog and his terminal degree is a Ph.D.
