The Healthcare Policy Podcast
Podcast interviews with health policy experts on topical subjects.
The Healthcare Policy Podcast website features audio interviews with experts on current or important health care topics.
Despite the number of healthcare-related podcasts, an online public forum presenting expert health policy analysis and comment is lacking. While other healthcare podcasts and real time health policy conferences abound, these typically present vested interest viewpoints or do not adequately blend informed research and policy analysis with political insight or acumen. Since health care policy issues are typically (if not always) complex, clearly reasoned, dispassionate discussion is helpful. These podcasts will attempt to fill this void.
Among other topical areas this podcast will address:
- Implementation of the Affordable Care Act
- Other federal Medicare and Medicaid policy issues including MACRA and Medicare Advantage
- Federal health care regulatory oversight, moreover CMS and the FDA
- Healthcare research
- Private sector healthcare delivery reforms including access, coverage, reimbursement and quality issues
- Public health issues including the social determinates of health
Listeners are welcomed to share their program comments and suggest programming ideas.
Comments made by the interviewees are strictly their own and do not represent those of their affiliated organization/s.
