Upcoming Podcasts in March: the 13th; 21st; and, the 24th
On March 13th I'll speak again with Dr. Eric Reinhart, a political anthropologist and physician, about the life of Dr. Paul Farmer. Listeners are likely aware Dr. Farmer, the internationally renowned co-founder of Partners In Health, died suddenly at age 62 on February 22, 2022. I spoke with Dr. Reinhart, also in 2021 (in June), about mass incarceration, public health and structural racism in the COVID-era.
On March 21st, I'll speak with Oxford Professor Neta Crawford regarding her recently published book, "The Pentagon, Climate Change, and War: Charting the Rise and Fall of US Military Emissions."
On March 24th, I'll speak with Mr. Clark Reed, the EPA's National Coordinator for their Energy Star program. Energy Star is used by, among others, 40% of Fortune 500 companies to reduce their energy consumption or greenhouse gas emissions thereby protecting public health. Since the program's inception in 1992, the program has achieved 4 billion tons of GHG emission reductions.
