I launched The Healthcare Policy Podcast in late 2012 for the purpose of interviewing experts regarding a variety of healthcare-related topics. (As of November 2025, I’ve conducted over 330 interviews.)

While healthcare podcast programming has exploded over the past decade plus, to my mind they still typically discuss vested interests. Only infrequently do they combine subject knowledge expertise and policy analysis. Healthcare/healthcare policy issues are frequently complicated/complex, therefor, thoughtful, reasoned discussion is required. These podcast will attempt to fill this void.

I’ve no conflicts of interest, moreover, I accept no advertising/sponsorship money or payment of any other kind. I work diligently to avoid or prevent interviewees from promoting their parochial interests. Interviewee comments are strictly their own and do not necessarily, or in fact do not, represent those of their affiliated organization/s.

Listeners are welcomed to offer/propose programming topics and comment on podcast discussions.
